Lack of Community Safety Programs Leads Couple to Kidproof Franchise
For Immediate Release: Canada (Press Release) February 3, 2010 – Kidproof Canada's® newest partners, Joe De Guilio and Laura Harvey, reviewed their local child safety courses and agreed that there were not enough classes that addressed important issues. So, they decided to take on the responsibility of informing and empowering kids by starting a Kidproof Canada® franchise.
“We researched the company, and believe that Kidproof has the same values as ours,” say Joe and Laura, who will be delivering Kidproof Canada's® famous child safety programs within Simcoe County, Ontario. “We have two children of our own, and we've lived in the community for 17 years. We are always looking for ways to improve the safety of our kids. We hope to help make our community safe for all children.”
Joe and Laura are also active within many local organizations, making them ideal franchise partners - Kidproof is dedicated to providing up-to-date safety information and education to as many parents, children and educators as possible. “Laura has volunteered at the kid’s school for 10 years and was a Sunday school teacher for five years,” says Joe. “Currently, she sits on the Barrie Soccer Board and is a co-chair for school council, and we both have coached and managed various sports teams in our community.”
