Primarily geared to the business and commercial community, a virtual one-stop center for all your printing and graphic needs. Minuteman Press has been in business since 1973. Currently, there are over 975 Minuteman Press Full Service Printing Center's throughout England, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Puerto Rico, and the United States. Our concepts, along with our capabilities, have enabled our franchise owners to offer the quality and service necessary to generate a tremendous repeat business.

Training:

Selected franchisees are trained for two and half weeks at the world headquarters in Farmingdale, NY. The training center is a modern facility furnished with the latest equipment and staffed with experienced professional training personnel. This training provides the franchisee with technical knowledge about the business, as well as business knowledge pertaining to bookkeeping, pricing, management techniques and direct marketing techniques required to efficiently operate the business.

After the initial training period, franchisees will have a Minuteman Press representative at the location to work with the new franchisees, to prepare them in opening the new business, assist with hiring and training new employees and to help in getting started.

Minuteman Press offers exceptional support for franchises from our 26 regional backup and support offices; by extending technical and marketing assistance our regional vice president provide on-going local support to the stores. Support personnel maintain a high level of communication and continually offer assistance to franchise owners. Regional meetings and conventions are also held to further educate owners to innovations and new trends in the industry. Additionally, Minuteman Press has been committed to constantly improving and refining procedures with items such as computerized pricing, e- commerce solutions and our propriety management software, seeking ways to better assist franchise owners to grow and succeed in their business.

Qualifications:

Franchisees come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Prior experience in the printing industry is not required. Many franchisees, in fact, have never had experience in printing or in business. Before training begins, franchisees are introduced to a number of local franchise owners, taken to these locations to have a first hand look at how the business is run and listen to what the franchisees have to say about the operation. This enables potential franchisees to further understand the system and evaluate whether the Minuteman Press Franchise system is suited to their qualifications.
