Thai Express® is extremely focused on expansion and this can be seen from its explosion onto the quick-service restaurant industry since our acquisition in 2004 with 5 locations in the Montreal region. Since then we have gone national and scheduled to reach over 70 locations across Canada by end of 2008.
Location is essential to the success of a Thai Express® Franchise.
Thai Express® is always looking for new strategically located sites in order to expand our breed of franchises. Sites are selected on the basis of high traffic, high visibility, adequate square footage and cost criteria. A Thai Express® Franchise range from 450 sq.ft. for Mall locations to 1,200 sq.ft. to 2,000 sq. ft. for Street locations.
Preferred locations are typically major shopping centers, public markets or highly populated commercial and/or residential areas.
Thai Express® offers a two week intensive training program at one of our training centers for all new franchisees and chosen staff. Training focuses on two fundamental elements of Thai Express®: Food Preparation and Experienced Operations.
The food preparation partition of the program is dedicated to the introduction of the menu, ingredients and preparation of the all Thai Express® products.
The experienced operational partition of the program will concentrate on tools and techniques developed and refined by Thai Express® team to assist you in efficiently and effectively managing your own business. More specifically, this training course covers quality control, customer service, inventory, approved suppliers, purchasing as well as site maintenance and hygiene.
Training will be given by qualified and experienced personnel that will follow the Thai Express® approved curriculum.
Lastly, a one week on-site training will be given by one of our experienced supervisors during the first week of operations.
