The UPS Store® offers a complete array of business services, providing businesses and consumers with a one-stop shop for a variety of needs. In addition to domestic and international shipping, our offerings include digital print and copy services (both B&W and colour), document finishing (binding, laminating, etc.), printing services (business cards, letterhead, rubber stamps, etc.), full-service packaging, mailbox services, office and packaging supplies, and more. Most offer computer rentals for customer convenience.
When it comes to courier shipping, we are the only business centre to provide customers with real choice. Not only do we offer clients courier shipping through UPS, we are also the authorized shipping centre for other leading couriers including Canpar, DHL and TNT. So when it comes to document and shipping services, the one place that people know they can turn to is The UPS Store®.
A Global Presence
MBEC Communications, Inc. is a master licensee of Mail Boxes Etc.® Inc., a UPS company, and supports both The UPS Store® brand and Mail Boxes Etc.® here in Canada. Together, the two brands comprise the world’s largest franchise network of retail shipping, postal and business service centres.
An Inviting Business Environment
The UPS Store® interior is designed to promote a comfortable, yet professional business environment, with a contemporary appearance focused on products and services. Typically located in shopping centres and commercial complexes, The UPS Store® locations can also be found in special venues such as airports, convention centres and hotels. Location sizes range from 800 to 1,200 sq. ft. and stores generally engage a full-time staff of two or more employees, including the owner/operator. Hours of operation vary, but locations are typically open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Once you become a The UPS Store® franchisee you will also be able to take advantage of financing provided by The UPS Store's Canadian corporate office to qualified franchisees under our Multi-Store Ownership Program for your second or even third location.

The UPS Store® is a respected retail franchise operation and is highly sought after by major landlords across Canada. This allows us to secure quality retail locations at fair market value. Store Design & Construction
Standardized designs offer a consistent store image, and consistent customer experience across our network. The UPS Store® franchise network will provide you with proven floor plans and store fixtures adaptable to almost any site.
A fully comprehensive training program is provided to you as you begin your journey as The UPS Store® franchisee. The training program is broken down into four phases.
Phase I - 40 hours of in-store pre-training at an existing The UPS Store® franchise.
Phase II - 11 days of classroom training at the corporate head office in Oakville, Ontario.
Phase III - 80 hours of in-store post-training work experience.
Phase IV - Ongoing education including programs such as Regional Workshops, Webinars, Network Meetings, Regional and National Conferences.
