Tidbits originated as a single community newspaper in a small town in Montana in the late 1980`s. Eventually, the small single community paper had grown into a respectable, full-colour tabloid newspaper with coverage across the southern States.

In 2009 Canada joined the family. 2010 has seen the start of interest. 2011 is off with a bang! See us in Ontario now and British Columbia.

A Formula for Success!

Competitive papers impose too many limits on themselves. Some offer content that is too narrowly contrived or lacking in local flavor. Some publications do not even offer the individual franchisee the right to print their own stories or news bits.

Tidbits is innovative in the fact that it provides both stricter and freedom. Your weekly media fees entitle you to completely fill your paper with professional syndicated columns, articles, puzzles and comics. However, only part of your paper is designated to contain supplied content. This is to help with branding and cohesion throughout the Tidbits network. After fulfilling this prerequisite, the franchisee can publish their own articles in their paper.

Franchise area prices are based on population, beginning at the low price of $7,500.
For less than the price of an economy car, you can start your own successful publishing empire.
Our first commitment is to help you succeed. Once you join our family, we will supply you with materials that will help you prepare your business.
We will share our personal expertise and interactive materials that will help you analyze your market area, and lay the groundwork of your publication.
Again there are no royalties; you simply pay a weekly Media fee that includes all your content and web site to make you successful, no matter how big your paper is you still only pay one fee!
At Tidbits University, you will be treated to three days of intense workshops, lectures and interactive programs that will cover all facets of your new business. Representatives of Tidbits Head Office, operating publishers and industry leaders will share all of their time and attention to make sure you start strong. This is included in your initial franchise fee.
