two new locations in Milton and Kingston, which will service the
Halton Region and Eastern Ontario. Formerly Copper County Foods,
Heart to Home meals prepares, delivers and readies frozen meals for
their senior customers, with everything from breakfast to dessert
and special diet options available.
According to Heart to Home Meals President Michael Gazer, the new additions will allow the company to serve thousands more. Gazer expects this will go a long way in helping seniors enjoy more independence and convenience in their daily lives. He noted that the company’s franchisees are devoted and motivated, something that is reflected by the customer feedback they regularly receive.
New Kingston franchise owners, Wes Mulder and Kate Cochrane first discovered Heart to Home Meals when Cochrane was looking for easy and quick meals for her ailing father. Both Mulder and Cochrane were attracted to the franchise model’s flexibility in operations, the low competition levels and the ability to provide a needed community service. The Kingston location will serve seniors from the Cobourg to Cornwall areas.
