Quesada Announces the Opening of Two More Restaurants and Signing of Another Development Contract.
Toronto, Ontario, April 22, 2014-Tom O’Neill, President of Quesada Franchising of Canada Corp. has announced the opening of two more Quesada Franchises. One is located in Brockville, Ontario and the other in Mississauga. These new openings bring the chain to 25 restaurants. Quesada has expansion underway in five provinces and is currently developing an additional 15 sites across Canada from Calgary to Quebec City. Franchises are already under construction in Calgary, New Liskeard, Welland, Cambridge, Brampton, Vaughan, Niagara Falls and Dollard des Ormeaux with leases being finalized in Saskatoon, London, Kitchener, Toronto, Sherbrooke and Quebec City. Quesada expects to reach 40 open outlets this fall. O’Neill also announced the signing of an eighth 30-restaurant development contract. Michel Dionne and Charles Garneau, both of Quebec City signed their development agreements earlier this month and together with the company have already started negotiation of a site in Quebec City.
Says O’Neill, “This brings Quesada to 240 contracts for development over the next sixty months.”
Quesada first opened in 2004 and now operates four corporate restaurants and multiple franchise outlets. The Company expects to open about 300 franchised restaurants in the next five years. “Our game plan” says O’Neill, “is to double in size every twelve months.”
