Nurse Next Door Home Care Services, one of North America’s fastest growing franchise systems, took a major step forward in its aggressive US expansion plan. The leading senior home care franchise system in Canada announced the signing of its first two US franchise locations in Medford, Oregon and Fort Collins, Colorado.

“We’ve worked very hard to find the right partners to launch our initial US franchise locations with,” says John DeHart, Co-founder of Nurse Next Door. “We’ve built a very successful model in Canada and we’re excited to bring this success to the US market.”

“We plan on launching another 15 to 20 locations across the United States in the next 12 months,” adds fellow Co-founder Ken Sim. “All of these franchise locations will bring a unique caring experience into their clients’ homes and also create much needed jobs for local residents.”

Nurse Next Door’s two initial franchise partners will now undertake a thorough initial training program in preparation for their operational launches in the coming months.

“It’s about caring, not just healthcare,” says Therrell Oglesby, Nurse Next Door’s Fort Collins, Colorado franchise partner. “We’re thrilled to be bringing such a unique model for success to our community and service our aging population.”

Nurse Next Door’s target market, seniors 65 and older, currently accounts for almost 40 million Americans according to the U.S. Census Bureau. An alarming 10,000 people turn 65 every day, creating an enormous demand for in-home care services.
