PRO OIL CHANGE Franchise Announces New Location in Cambridge

Cambridge, Ontario / January 12, 2009.   Not all businesses are waiting for better times to arrive before moving into expansion mode. With the renovation and rebranding of the Cambridge Pennzoil Ten Minute Oil Change Centre, President and CEO Travis Allan will add one more store to the list of PRO OIL CHANGE units scheduled to open in 2009.

“The quick lube business is about as close to recession proof as you will find. We have opened stores in almost every month of the year for the past ten years, and it really doesn’t seem to make a difference. If you have a good location, give good value and service, you are literally off to the races”. The company is a built-in-Ontario success story, and they recently caught the interest of a major lubricant supplier. Valvoline decided to co-brand with the company, and support the new PRO OIL CHANGE expansion program regardless of any blips in the economy this year.

The new PRO OIL CHANGE store is outlet number ten for the Burlington, ON based automotive service operator, and their first location in Cambridge. Current plans are for five to seven more franchise outlets in 2009, in addition to current stores under construction or renovation in Orangeville, Kanata and St. Thomas. The Company recently embarked on a franchise expansion program earlier this year, and the Cambridge location will also be offered as a franchise opportunity.

The new outlet is located at 140 Dundas Street South in Cambridge.
