Calgary, Alberta – is pleased to announce an evolution in branding with the release of a new logo.

The new logo prominently features the word “Joey’s” in blue lettering with “Restaurants” underneath and the yellow fish mascot on top. Joey’s Famous Yellow Fish lets customers know graphically that we are a seafood restaurant. The simplicity of the new logo invites customers to enjoy Joey’s friendly, casual restaurant atmosphere.

“Our new logo design allows the lettering in ‘Joey’s’ to be 30% larger than our previous logo and more easily read on signage,” explains Andy Taylor, Joey’s Senior VP. “Our customers will likely appreciate the change if their eyesight is anything like mine!”

“We’re all very excited about introducing the new logo!” says Dave Holland, Joey’s Creative and Marketing Manager. “The new logo design coincides with our new, clean menu design to give us a simple, modern, unified look.”

Implementation of the new logo on all new in-store materials system-wide began on May 1, 2009.
