Minneapolis, Minnesota - May 6, 2011 – Snap Fitness, the world’s fastest growing franchise featuring compact, 24/7 fitness centers, has been recognized with a 2011 Franchisees’ Choice designation, presented by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA).

The exclusive award was presented on April 4, 2011 at a gala during the inaugural CFA National Convention in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The Franchisees’ Choice designees are CFA member franchise systems that voluntarily took part in an independently-administered survey. Their franchisees were asked to rate the franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model, including the franchisee selection process; franchisee Information package; leadership; business planning and marketing; training and support; ongoing operations; and the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee.

“We are thrilled to have achieved this designation, as it confirms our continued efforts to further strengthen our relationship with our franchisees,” said Peter Taunton, Founder and CEO of Snap Fitness.

The designation comes at a time when Snap Fitness continues its move north. With 65 clubs currently open and operating across Canada, company plans call for a total of 350-500 locations within five years.

While Snap Fitness offers the same quality equipment as traditional health clubs, the booming brand is setting industry standards by focusing on complete member wellness and providing a host of products and services designed to give members better results and more value for their money. By scaling down in size and eliminating unnecessary amenities such as swimming pools and racquetball courts, Snap Fitness offers customers a quality, affordable workout with strong emphasis on customer service and convenience.

Today, Snap Fitness operates more than 1,100 clubs throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Australia and New Zealand, with additional clubs currently being developed in the United Kingdom.
