Menchie’s Opens Second Canadian Store

TORONTO, ON – October 27, 2010 – Menchie’s is already a favorite spot among Hollywood’s hottest celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Timberlake. With more than 50 stores in the United States, Menchie’s growing popularity is now expanding into Canada with the announcement of its second location, this one in Toronto. The customizable frozen yogurt experience will soon become a community hotspot for Toronto residents. 

Menchie’s will open its newest Canadian store on November 1, 2010 at 511 Bloor Street West in Toronto. The grand opening celebration will take place on November 6th with free yogurt being offered from 12pm-6pm. The new Toronto store comes on the heels of the September opening of Menchie’s Richmond Hill location at 9360 Bathurst Street.

Menchie’s customers help themselves to an unlimited mix of yogurt and toppings at a unique self-serve station with more than 100 rotating yogurt flavors from vanilla and chocolate to cake batter, green apple tart, and pina colada, and more than 70 rotating toppings including fresh fruits, granolas, nuts, an assortment of candy and hot fudges. Menchie’s uses the highest quality frozen yogurt at all of its locations globally, made exclusively through its own label.
