Second Cup franchise

Independently owned. Uniquely Canadian.™ Second Cup is Canada's largest specialty café franchisor and the second largest retailer of specialty coffee. Our Franchise Partners play a prominent role in the success of the Second Cup brand, and with our continued growth and expansion we are always actively seeking highly qualified business people to join our network of franchise partners.
From a humble beginning in 1975 as a shopping mall kiosk that only sold whole bean coffee, Second Cup has become Canada's largest specialty coffee retailer. And since its inception, Second Cup has grown to more than 360 cafés across Canada and over 15 cafés internationally, making Second Cup a second home to hundreds of guests every day.
In addition to our locations our product line has also grown from simple whole bean coffee to more than 30 premium coffees, specialty beverages, complementary foods and merchandise items. In 2002, Second Cup became a member of the Cara Operations family of restaurants, which include Milestones, Kelsey’s, Montana’s, Swiss Chalet & Harvey's.
On November 14, 2006, Second Cup became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dinecorp Hospitality Inc, a company controlled by Gabe Tsampalieros, Chairman of Second Cup and former CEO of CARA.
Owning a Second Cup café is a tremendous opportunity that requires relevant business experience and significant financial commitment. We invite you to learn more about the Second Cup franch ise experience to see whether or not this is right for you. | |
