Since 1981, Vanellis has been serving fresh Italian food across Canada. In 1995, Vanellis opened its first unit in Bahrain and was an instant international success. As part of the MTY Group, Vanellis has now grown to over 110 units worldwide and will continue to grow and expand to meet our customers’ needs.

Our Concept

Vanellis is constantly evolving to stay ahead of the rapidly changing quick service industry. We only purchase our products from the most reputable suppliers and never settle for anything less.

For many years, we have been serving traditional pizzas and pastas. Recently, we have added a selection of gourmet pastas and pizzas to our menu. Our pastas are always freshly prepared in front of our customers, allowing them to select the appropriate ingredients that meet their nutritional and dietary needs. We enjoy having our customers involved in making their nutritional choices. This also ensures that the food is fresh and hot!

The Franchise Process

Vanellis is dedicated to helping you through the entire franchising process – from site selection, to training and to marketing support.

Site Selection

Location, Location, Location. Location is key to a successful business. At Vanellis, we have a rigorous site selection process to ensure that each location is strategically located to provide maximum visibility, traffic and of the appropriate size.



Training

Upon the grand opening of your store, Vanellis enlists each new franchisee in 2 weeks of training. Our training includes:

• Food preparation and handling methods – we will teach you, step by step everything you need to know to prepare all the items on our menu – from pizza dough handling to cooking every one of Vanellis’ signature pasta dishes.


• Purchasing – we provide you all the tools and information to streamline your purchases and ensure that you benefit from our collective purchasing power


• Staffing – we will lend a hand in making sure that you hire appropriate staff for your restaurant.

We will also supply you with the “Vanellis Operations Manual” which is a comprehensive guide to successfully operate your business. We are there for you every step of the way!
