This page describes the text-message (SMS) program operated by Frantech Media, Inc. (doing business as BeTheBoss.ca), the messages we send, how you give your consent, and how to stop receiving them. Our messages are sent from our toll-free number +1 (855) 599-9442.

1. Program description
BeTheBoss.ca sends account-related, transactional text messages to people who provide a mobile number and agree to receive them. These messages support your use of your BeTheBoss.ca account and listings. They include:
- Login verification codes (two-factor authentication) when you sign in to your account; and
- Listing notifications for sellers, brokers, realtors and service providers — for example, an alert when a buyer inquires about or asks to contact you regarding your own listing.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
2. How you opt in (consent)
Providing your mobile number is always optional. You give your consent to receive the text messages described above by checking the SMS consent box next to the phone-number field — for example when you:
- create an account or submit a listing on a BeTheBoss.ca sign-up form; or
- add or update your mobile number in your account profile.
The consent box is unchecked by default; messaging consent is not a condition of creating an account, purchasing, or using BeTheBoss.ca. We never share or sell your mobile number, and we do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third parties.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity — for example, how often you sign in (verification codes) or how often buyers contact you about your listings.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by your mobile carrier; BeTheBoss.ca does not charge you for the text messages themselves.
5. How to opt out or get help
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt back in. For help, reply HELP, visit our Contact page, or call 1-604-461-4681.
You can also turn off SMS at any time by removing your mobile number, or unchecking SMS consent, in your account profile.
6. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice, and delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability.
7. Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your mobile number and other personal information.
