Montreal, October 18, 2010 – As part of
National Pizza Month, the general public is invited to visit
their local Pizza Pizza restaurant in an effort to help raise funds
for children’s hospitals.
Starting today until Sunday, October 24th, participating
traditional Pizza Pizza locations across Canada
will be hosting the annual Slices for Smiles fundraiser. Medium
pepperoni pizzas will be sold for $4.99
with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Children’s Miracle
Network and Opération Enfant
Soleil.
The funds collected will help provide leading-edge patient care,
research and educational programs at
the 14 children’s hospitals across Canada.

To date, the Pizza Pizza team’s Slices for Smiles Fund has
raised over $500,000 for children charities
