On Saturday, October 1, the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) will host “Getting Started: A Guide to Business Start Up,” a full day of intensive seminars designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch their plans for business ownership. Held at the Hyatt Regency in Toronto, the event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from leading experts in law, marketing, finance and business about what it takes to open and run a successful business.

Topics covered will include legal and financial requirements, sources of financing, marketing strategies and the benefits of the franchise business model. Morning sessions will focus on general business start up while afternoon sessions will focus specifically on franchising.

Attendees will come away with a free resource package, including a detailed checklist of the steps they need to take to register and open a new business, as well as free passes to the Franchise Show, Canada’s largest and most trusted franchise-only tradeshow.
