Visual communications leader FastSigns recently honored franchisees in Windsor, Scarborough, London and Burlington, Ontario, and in Kelowna and Calgary, British Columbia, at their 2018 international convention last month. This year's convention took place in Houston, Texas.

Franchisees Craig and Carol Ann Gibbs (Scarborough), Brian and Diane Henderson (Burlington), Kevin Khan (Calgary) and Ted Schouten (London) were all recognized for exceeding more than $1 million in total sales for 2017. Meanwhile, Philip and Kimberly Walker (Kelowna) were honored with the Customer Service Solutions award for all the work they did for the Ultimate Hockey Centre, which included providing new signage for the whole facility. Finally, Jackie Raymond and Donna Bilodeau (Windsor) were given the brand's charity award for their support of many local initiatives and charities. The Windsor franchisees, for example, provided a bursary to an Ecole Secondaire Catholique E.J. Lajeunesse student for an animation and graphic design program, donated close to $1,500 to the Downtown Mission of Windsor and the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee, and gave all nonprofits a 10 percent discount.
