Figaro’s Italian Pizza Franchise Comes to Canada

Nov 13, 2006

Figaro’s Italian Pizza franchise opened its first Canadian store in New Brunswick, Canada this past July. The take-and-bake and dine-in pizza chain currently has more than 100 stores throughout the U.S and now plans expansion throughout the eastern Canadian provinces. Within the next within the next 5-8 years Figaro’s Pizza plans to open 50-60 stores in Canada. The company will position itself strongly against its competition with superior food quality and product selection. With a variety of items available on their menu and the option of “You Bake-We Bake”, Figaro’s is optimistic about their plans for growth.1 Now in its 25th year, Figaro’s Pizza began in 1981 in Oregon as the dream of two entrepreneurs who wanted to meet the needs of busy families in the area who required speed, quality and convenience. Today, the company continues its unique selling proposition centered on their food and providing exceptional value, using only the freshest of ingredients. Figaro’s insistence on using only 100% REAL Mozzarella cheese, fresh vegetables and meats with no fillers or MSG, along with making fresh dough daily, has reinforced their trusted brand over time. Figaro’s represents an attractive opportunity for business ownership regardless of the owner’s background and is a proud member of the International Franchise Association’s MinorityFran and VeteranFran.
