Instant Imprints, the revolutionary promotional products industry leader, announced today the opening of its first centre in Central Canada. Situated in Winnipeg’s St. James district near the bustling Polo Park shopping centre, Instant Imprints blends five revenue streams into one business to business retail centre that offers embroidery, screen printing, heat transfers, signs and promotional products.
Local entrepreneur Iain Scott brings Instant Imprints to town to help local businesses promote with innovative marketing solutions. The new Instant Imprints centre is located at 305 Madison Street, Unit E. It is the 11th in Canada, and the first between British Columbia and Ontario.
“I’m thrilled about the opportunity to provide local businesses, organizations, schools, and everyone that has something to promote a trusted partner here in Winnipeg,” said Scott, who also owns a nearby The UPS Store. “We make it as easy as possible for our clients to take care of all their promotional needs under one roof. Whether they need uniforms for their staff or a booth for their tradeshow, Instant Imprints has the solution. Marketing departments can rely on in-house production and quality control to ensure on-time delivery. School and sports organizations have a partner to support fundraising, uniform supply and decoration.”
Scott transitioned into franchise ownership in 2006 when he opened his The UPS Store after a 30-year career in the printing industry. He has proven to be an entrepreneurial success, growing his The UPS Store into one of Canada’s top performing locations.
“This is an exciting endeavor to be able to work side by side with companies to help them reach their goals through effective promotion,” added Scott.
In addition to owning the new Winnipeg centre, Scott completed a deal with Instant Imprints to become the Area Franchisee for the entire Manitoba and Saskatchewan Provincial regions. As Area Franchisee, Scott will lead the brand’s growth throughout both provinces and projects more than fifteen locations in total.
“We have all the trust in the world that Iain will guide our franchise growth effectively,” said Ralph Askar, who heads the franchisor’s operations for Instant Imprints as the president and CEO of the company. “In addition to being a savvy businessman, Iain is passionate about teaching others how to get their business up and running.”
The new centre will fill space that was occupied by a Volkswagen dealership for more than 40 years, adjacent to Polo Park.
Expansion into Winnipeg is part of the company’s aggressive North American development plan, which calls for more than 500 new centres throughout Canada and the United States.
As part of the Instant Imprints franchise model, area franchise owners, such as Iain, have the support of the Instant Imprints experienced leadership team from start to finish. Complete with comprehensive training, site selection support, marketing programs and the purchasing power of the Instant Imprints’ network, the business model has been cultivated to cater to high quality candidates that understand the value of the proven system.
