The switch has been flipped today to the "ON" position for the new "MyPGU.com" website, designed to provoke thought and save navigation time for the end user. "There are a ton of questions anyone investigating a business opportunity needs to ask and should ask", offered Shane Scott, the company's national manager for franchise development. We felt we needed to do a better job on-line to lighten the load on the due diligence process and make it less painful. Scott says simplifying navigation was a priority and he feels MyPGU.com has accomplished that with easy-to- follow text and graphics that clearly indicate the necessary steps to take when considering the company as a business opportunity.
The new website is the brainchild of Andrew MacKinnon, PropertyGuys.com resident Web strategist and IT expert. MacKinnon was responsible for plotting the sleek design strategy and quarterbacking video and copy elements that stand out as instant attention-grabbers. "It was a fun project from start to finish because the guys around here have a great sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously", explained the easy-going MacKinnon.
"I wanted to capture the essence of that spirit in the new franchising site so that people evaluating whether to buy a PropertyGuys.com franchise would get a sense of our attitude about the real estate industry and the way we do business. The last thing we wanted was another boring, dry, content heavy site that makes eyeballs glaze over. We wanted to communicate in a way that might make someone shake their head or laugh out loud", concluded MacKinnon.
