Angela Seto was visiting Hong Kong with her family, and tried Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt. Her youngsters fell in love with the stuff, and now she’s brought the concept to Edmonton. Touted as “the world’s largest self-serve frozen yogurt retail chain,” Tutti Frutti opened its doors on Whyte Avenue a month ago. There are some 400 locations in 30 countries around the world.

I haven’t tried it yet, but Angela tells me the concept is attractive because 1) it’s good yogurt and 2) there is a self-serve system that means you can control your portion size. Cuts down on line-ups in the store as well. There are 50 flavours to choose from, and 30 toppings.
