Innovative Fitness Franchisee - Kris Schjelderup

May 07, 2014

Kris knew he wanted to be involved in the Fitness Industry from a very young age, so after he complete his BHK at UBC he started the search to find a company that fitted with his core values. During his search he came across Innovative Fitness and jumped in with both feet, starting as a Professional Training Coach then progressing to become a Facility Manager. While Kris was employed at Innovative Fitness he fell in love with the company, the systems, the lifestyle, the members and the culture which was totally different to the norm in the fitness industry.

Due to this love for the systems, the high energy culture, living the lifestyle and much much more, Kris was granted a franchise and decided to take the leap setting up in 2009 in beautiful Port Moody, BC. Even with a limited business accruement Kris was hugely successful due to following the proven systems provided by Innovative Fitness and continues to be very successful winning Innovative Fitness Franchise of the Year in 2012 and Business of the Year in 2013 by Tri Cities Chamber of Commerce.

So the million dollar question is why has Kris (and all Innovative Fitness franchise locations) been so successful in winning awards and growing? Simple the “IF Difference”. At Innovative Fitness we hold ourself to an extremely high standard in everything we do and this is guided by the 5 IF Core Values of Excellence, Engagement, Challenge, Professional Development and Legacy. Kris firmly believes in them all and executes each at a high level every day with this team of 15 full time Professional Training Coaches.
