Marco A. Moras is the Chief Operating Officer of Bond Custom Clothing, Canada’s newest and innovative custom clothing franchise. He is moving into this position after serving as a member of the Board of Directors with Brite Financial, as the Director of Franchise and Sales Development for Financial Freedom Now, a debt solution franchise operating in Canada and U.S.. Bond Custom Clothing operates in Canada and U.S. and is partners with many European fabric mills and distribution channels that bring their custom product to the marketplace.

Over the course of his career, he has succeeded in the financial planning and investment field, leading his divisions when serving as an Investment Fund Specialist and Financial Planner with BMO and then RBC. In early 2010, Marco moved into the franchise market, and has since developed systems for several successful franchise models that are currently operating in many provinces in Canada.

BeTheBoss: Tell us about the Bond Custom Clothing concept.

:Bond Custom Clothing is a unique custom clothing franchise specializing in well-made, personalized suits that are made exclusively for the client, from the finest fabrics in the world. Over the past 25 years, Bond Custom Clothing has partnered with many respected international vendors to bring their great fabrics and products to the North American marketplace.

BTB: How and when did you become involved with Bond Custom Clothing?

:I became involved with Bond Custom Clothing in 2013, and it was as a result of being approached by our co-founders, with a new, exciting business idea, for Canada’s first and only mobile retail, custom clothing franchise.

BTB: What was your background prior to joining Bond Custom Clothing?

:25 yrs of sales and business operating experience, with RBC, Great West Life, and BMO, most of which specialized in providing clients with tailored financial security, debt and investment solutions. Over the past 5 yrs, I have spent my time with Brite Financial, as a Franchise Consultant and Director of Franchise and Sales Development

BTB: What are some of the greatest lessons you’ve learned in growing this franchise?

:That’s, no two people and no two suits are the same….ever! A client’s selection in their suits are only limited by their own individual imagination.

BTB: What advice do you have for someone looking to acquire a Franchise?

:Meet as many potential franchisors, and select the best suited are for you. You need to enjoy your role, and be passionate about the product or service you choose to provide. That, is what will ultimately give you the success and sense of fulfillment you desire in being an owner / operator.
