Filling the need for healthy meals on the go, The Chopped Leaf is a fresh casual brand that is targeting Southern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada for expansion. Recently celebrating their 80th location in Grande Prairie AB (the second location in Grand Prairie), The Chopped Leaf has announced plans to open at least 20 additional locations through franchise partnerships and strategic development, creating approximately 15-25 new jobs per location.

Markets which expect substantial growth in 2019 are Southern Ontario and Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Stevens and his wife Karla created The Chopped Leaf concept based on the belief that there was a gap in the quick service industry. Seeing a growing demand for real food on the go they created a concept that appealed to the active, busy person that needed a high-quality meal served quickly. Their first restaurant opened in 2009 in Kelowna B.C. and Blair and Karla continued to work on developing manuals, tweaking recipes, and perfecting every aspect of the brand. By 2011 their first franchise location opened on Robson Street in Vancouver, BC.
Chopped Leaf now has 80 successful franchise locations across Canada and the US and is actively seeking qualified franchisee partners to open their own restaurants.
