Here is a short story about my background as a franchise owner. I immigrated to Canada in July 2008 with almost no experience in the coffee business. My previous profession was system analysing and managing quality control as an Industrial engineer. Upon my arrival to Canada and after just a couple of months, I purchased my first franchise café and managed to double the annual sales in just the first year. I was given several customer satisfaction rewards from mall management and the city mayor.

That is when I came across Brioche Dorée. I showed my interest to open a new store two years ago in the North American Centre and it was the best decision I ever made.  We managed to convert a closing bookstore to a brand new Brioche Dorée café bakery and are currently one of the highest volume stores in the Ontario market, while directly competing with various food users nearby. Brand presence from a company with hundreds of locations worldwide put us in such a strong position to compete with competitors. Customers who step in our cafés experience freshly made products which include gourmet sandwiches, salads, pastries, desserts, specialty coffees and teas, smoothies and soups which are constantly being refreshed with new recipes by our marketing team to fulfil our customers’ demands. I do strongly believe that there is a huge opportunity for Brioche Dorée to expand in Toronto where people can enjoy the service of a successful international brand with decades of experience in this business.
