Oakville, ON, January 29, 2008 – A new franchise concept in Canada, Instant Imprints, announces it has awarded three franchises since opening its first retail location in Canada two months ago.

Instant Imprints is a promotional advertising franchise that offers screen printing, promotional products, embroidery, sign and banner production in a 1,500 square foot retail store, with all services done in-house.

“People are excited about the opportunity Instant Imprints offers,” explains Don Crupi, Vice President, Operations for II.Ca, the company that owns the master license for Instant Imprints in Canada. The senior management team of II.CA also has holds a significant interest in The UPS Store® chain in Canada.

The new franchises will be located in Richmond, BC, Mississauga, ON and North Toronto, which will bring it to a total of five Instant Imprints stores opening since the Canadian master license came to Canada in the fall of 2007.

“Potential franchisees recognize the opportunity in the marketplace for a one-stop shop for professional, brand building solutions for small businesses, provided in any type of quantity. Traditionally, large volumes needed to be ordered from the large promotional imprinting companies and samples were hard to come by. At Instant Imprints, it’s a retail setting so people can see right away the quality they are buying, and any quantity can be ordered – which is perfect for small business,” explains Crupi.

Stores are 1,500 sq ft or less and the total turnkey franchise costs are between $175,000 and $210,000.

 About Instant Imprints

Instant Imprints® was founded in the 1950’s when co-founder Lev Kats began simple screen printing with home-made equipment. Soon, the mastery of this skill enabled the Kats family to grow the family business and to branch out to multiple locations in California. Leo, Lev’s son, capitalized on the success of the family business and co-founded the Instant Imprints brand with his father in the early 1990’s.
