South St. Burger Brings its Winning Concept to Kitchener-Waterloo

TORONTO, ONTARIO (MAY 15, 2014) –South St. Burger, a New York Fries company, today opened its first premium burger restaurant serving Southwestern Ontario in the Boardwalk at Ira Needles in Kitchener-Waterloo. Known for its top quality, charbroiled burgers, South St. Burger is focused on its growth strategy, with the new restaurant marking the 21st location in the province.


The opening comes on the heels of South St. Burger’s second location in Dubai, UAE, bringing the total number of restaurants to 26 worldwide. Seven more are planned for 2014, including new locations in Ottawa, Markham, Vaughan, three in Toronto, and one in Dubai.

Seating 65 guests, with a patio that seats an additional 25 patrons, the Kitchener-Waterloo South St. Burger is located beside the Grand River Transit station.
